Daily facial cleansing only removes dirt from the surface of your skin. To keep a healthy glow to your skin it is necessary to periodically give it a deep cleanse. The build-up of impurities from makeup, environmental pollutants, and even skincare products can clog pores.

Facial steaming is a simple way to deep cleanse the skin. Facial steaming opens pores and impurities are drawn out as the skin sweats. Use this easy do it yourself facial steam once a week to keep a healthy glowing complexion.

                                                           Do It Yourself Facial Steam

You Need:
Large stainless steel potfacial steaming for clear skin
2 cups distilled water
¼ cup apple cider vinegar (used to aid in deep cleansing pores)
2-3 drops tea tree oil (used for antibacterial properties)

Remove makeup from face. Place ingredients in pot and bring to a boil. Remove pot from heat and place it on a secure flat surface like the counter top or kitchen table. Put face in the steam coming from the hot liquid. Be careful. Keep face about 3-5 inches away from pot to avoid burning yourself. Drape towel over head and pot to keep steam from escaping. You will quickly begin to sweat. Steam face for 10-15 minutes. Wash face with a gentle cleanser. Tone and moisturize.
